About the job:

As an Installer ,you will be responsible for the hands-on installation and decommissioning ofnetwork and cabling infrastructure within a data center environment. This rolerequires precision, adherence to safety standards, and a commitment to qualityworkmanship. You will work closely under the guidance of senior technicians andleads, performing tasks such as pulling and terminating copper and fibercables, installing ladder racks, seismic bracing, and network equipment, aswell as labeling and testing connections. A strong understanding of wiringschemes, job floor plans, and telecom tools is essential, along with theability to maintain data center cleanliness and follow industry best practices.

What You’ll Do:

  • Installation/decommissioningof network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment.

  • Deliversustainable and repeatable solutions and processes, always with an eye on improvement.

  • Providestructured feedback on project progress to Stakeholders.

  • Exhibitquality workmanship on all work and maintain Data Center cleanliness.

  • Followall production, safety and quality standards, codes, and industry best practices.

  • Collaboratewith various Stakeholders to remove project obstacles.

  • Readingand comprehending blueprints and building documentation/redline work.

  • Broadunderstanding of Data Center infrastructure technologies.

What You’ll Need:

  • Shouldbe familiar on wiring schemes and wiring test.

  • Reportsto Operations Manager and take daily directions from Technician, Technician II,Lead Technicians, Senior Technicians and Advance Senior Technicians.

  • Perform4 pair continuity testing

  • Pullall types of low voltage cable including copper telecom cable

  • Performingall types of copper field terminations

  • Installladder racking and seismic bracing

  • Patchnetwork equipment

  • Readand Understand Port Maps/Matrices

  • Readand understand job floor plan and TC drawings

  • Shouldunderstand and be capable in performing field terminations and labeling.

  • InstallCopper and Fiber Cabling and labeling

  • AffixingLabels to cabling and Power Cords

The minimum salary for the Union Data Center Installer is $24.84 hourly and the maximum of $26.52 hourly. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.  This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance
