Schedule: PRN Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 1219 S Pine Ave City: Ocala State: Florida Postal Code: 34471 Job Description:

• Produces quality diagnostic ultrasound images using proper equipment techniques and technical factors.
• Performs all ultrasound procedures according to department policies.
• Follows prescribed hospital safety standards and practices sterile techniques to prevent contamination.
• Positions and transfers patients for exams.
• Maintains adequate records per department and hospital policies.
• Assists physicians in performing invasive procedures, ensuring proper lab work and specimen delivery.
• Incorporates patient, physician, and customer needs and concerns into decision-making and organizational actions.
• Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of the Ultrasound Department and secures and restocks supplies as necessary.
• Attends a minimum of 50% of scheduled department meetings and obtains information from missed meetings.
• Follows AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, and Thank) at all times. Maintains ethical, professional relationships and follow the “Standard of Behavior” guidelines per hospital policy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education:

• Associate's [Required]
• Technical/Vocational School [Required]

Work Experience:

• 1+ of position-related experience [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range:

$28.97 - $53.88 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
