Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support export documentation and payment-related processes for an agriculture-focused operation in Bakersfield, California. This position plays an important role in keeping shipments, records, and communications aligned across internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, export documentation experience, and the ability to manage time-sensitive work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit export paperwork required for international shipments, ensuring each file meets destination-specific regulations and compliance standards.

Coordinate with internal departments and outside partners such as banks, carriers, agents, warehouses, ports, terminals, and customers to keep documentation and shipment activity on track.

Investigate and resolve issues related to shipping documents, payment records, and transaction details to prevent delays.

Organize and maintain digital and physical documentation files in a structured system that supports easy retrieval and audit readiness.

Track incoming wire payments each day, compile related remittance information, and share timely updates with the appropriate teams.

Support reporting and data collection for special programs, operational reviews, and other business initiatives as needed.

Monitor shipping instructions and related trade documents, including letters of credit, to help ensure accurate processing and customer satisfaction.
Requirements • 3+ years of experience in logistics, export documentation, shipping coordination, or a related role.

Working knowledge of customs documentation, shipping functions, and document control practices.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain organized records.

Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external service partners.

Experience handling letters of credit, shipping instructions, and documentation troubleshooting.

Familiarity with ports, destination routing, and transportation-related geographic considerations.
