Paralegal

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to support a short-term employee-related legal matter in Longwood, Florida. This is a Contract position expected to last up to three weeks and will require availability of 40 hours per week. The person in this role will help organize case materials, develop a clear factual record, and provide research support to assist the legal team in preparing documentation efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and organize information related to an employee-focused legal case to support timely case preparation.

• Compile incident-related records and assemble supporting legal documents in a structured and accessible format.

• Create and maintain case indexes so materials can be reviewed quickly and accurately by the legal team.

• Draft clear chronological summaries and factual narratives based on collected records and findings.

• Conduct legal and manual research to locate relevant information, background details, and supporting documentation.

• Review case materials for completeness and consistency, identifying missing items that require follow-up.

• Collaborate with attorneys and internal stakeholders to ensure documentation is properly prepared for the matter. Requirements • At least 3 years of paralegal experience in a legal support environment.

• Prior exposure to litigation matters with the ability to manage case documentation effectively.

• Background in criminal law strongly preferred.

• Experience performing legal research as well as manual records research.

• Strong ability to collect, organize, and synthesize large volumes of information into usable case materials.

• Skilled in preparing narratives, summaries, and indexed case files with a high level of accuracy.

• Availability to work standard hours for the duration of this short-term contract assignment.
