Full job description

Ayble Health: Registered Dietitian – part-time

About Us: Ayble Health is transforming the way we care for chronic GI conditions such as IBS, GERD, Functional Dyspepsia, Crohn's Disease, and Ulcerative Colitis. Our mission is to help patients get better, faster by combining person-centered clinical care, behavior science, and intelligent technology with the support of a multidisciplinary care team.

Through telehealth visits, secure messaging, personalized nutrition and behavioral interventions, and data-driven insights, we help patients make meaningful, sustainable changes that improve both symptoms and quality of life. Our approach is truly one-size-fits-none.

Ayble's clinical model is backed by more than 14 clinical studies, including multiple randomized controlled trials published in leading gastroenterology journals. We are backed by leading venture capital firms, including early investors in Headspace, ClassPass, Venmo, Lyft, Bonobos, and Snap.

The Role: We are seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian (with the potential to transition to a full-time role). We're looking for passionate, patient-centered clinicians to deliver evidence-based nutrition care to individuals living with chronic GI conditions.

As an Ayble Registered Dietitian, you will serve as a core member of our multidisciplinary care team, collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and behavioral health providers to support patients through personalized nutrition care and longitudinal chronic condition management. Care is delivered virtually through Ayble's technology platform and designed to support patients longitudinally throughout their journey.

We welcome candidates with experience or interest in digestive health, including conditions such as IBS, GERD, Functional Dyspepsia, IBD, SIBO, and related disorders. Dietitians will have access to ongoing training, clinical resources, and support from our Integrated Care team to further develop expertise in GI-focused nutrition care.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients with chronic GI conditions.

  • Develop individualized nutrition care plans that address each patient's symptoms, clinical needs, goals, and lifestyle.

  • Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling and education to support symptom management and long-term behavior change.

  • Educate patients on therapeutic dietary approaches, including elimination diets, low FODMAP protocols, and other nutrition interventions when appropriate.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and behavioral health providers to deliver coordinated, whole-person care.

  • Support longitudinal chronic condition management through ongoing patient engagement, monitoring, and care plan adjustments.

  • Deliver care virtually through Ayble's telehealth platform while maintaining high standards of clinical quality, patient engagement, and documentation.

  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of clinical workflows, patient education resources, and care protocols.

Who We are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited dietetics program.

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential and successful completion of the national registration examination.

  • Active, unrestricted dietitian license in at least one (1) U.S. state.

  • Ability to maintain licensure and eligibility for credentialing as required by applicable state laws and organizational policies.

  • Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week.

  • Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team or demonstrated ability to coordinate care across multiple healthcare disciplines.

  • Access to a professional, HIPAA-compliant workspace with reliable high-speed internet and a personal computer equipped with a functioning webcam and microphone capable of supporting telehealth visits and virtual collaboration.

  • Comfort using telehealth platforms, electronic health records, and digital collaboration tools.

  • Demonstrated empathy, strong communication skills, and a patient-centered approach to care.

  • Ability to successfully pass background, credentialing, and reference checks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience caring for patients with chronic GI conditions, including IBS, IBD, GERD, Functional Dyspepsia, SIBO, and related disorders.

  • Familiarity with evidence-based dietary interventions (e.g., elimination diets, low FODMAP approaches) and mind-gut therapies or behavioral interventions commonly used in the management of chronic GI conditions.

  • Experience supporting patients with chronic disease management and behavior change.

  • Telehealth experience.

  • Experience working within a collaborative care model alongside physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, registered dietitians, and behavioral health providers.

  • Educational or professional background in population health, epidemiology, behavioral science, sociology, economics, public health, or related disciplines.

  • Experience contributing to clinical protocols, care pathways, quality improvement initiatives, patient education programs, or provider training initiatives.

Note: a background check will be completed to ensure compliance with all applicable laws
