This role in summary

Whirlpool is currently seeking a qualified candidate for an Analyst, Material Management . This position is located at our Findlay, OH site. The purpose of this role is to support production operations by leading a team that manages inbound component part delivery required to build finished products. The analyst must work collaboratively with external suppliers, 3rd party logistics providers, manufacturing stakeholders, and integrated supply chain partners to ensure the correct flow of material for our operations.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Manage hourly direct reports, including timekeeping and performance feedback

  • Supervision- coaching and developing team to drive great results in safety, quality, delivery and cost

  • Escalation of potential risks to production to their people leader and senior management

  • This role participates and/or leads continuous improvement projects related to improving material management

  • This role is also responsible for processes related to Inventory Accuracy, Bill of Materials (BOM) Accuracy, Excess/Obsolescence Management, Master Data, Accuracy, and Central Team Support

  • Collaborate with our 3rd party logistics provider in day-to-day operations and also scoping projects related to inbound/outbound freight reductions

  • Collaborate with production scheduling and material operations to troubleshoot emerging issues

  • Developing and preparing reports and analysis for management/corporate

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 1+ years of experience with Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Accounting or Engineering

  • 1+ years of people leadership experience

Preferred skills and experiences

  • Experience working with lean concepts. WCM methodology

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized and excellent attention to detail

  • Experience using SAP

  • Experience using Google Tools (Google: Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms & Drawings)

  • Proficient at developing and using standardized work
