Full job description

Reporting to the Scientific Affairs Manager, you will perform laboratory test preparation activities and analytical testing to provide accurate technical information that supports business and scientific objectives. You will work onsite in Omaha and contribute to sample management, laboratory testing, data integrity, equipment maintenance, and continuous improvement efforts.

A Taste Of Your Responsibilities

  • Follow laboratory management system and safety policies while receiving, preparing, and processing samples for analysis.
  • Accurately enter sample information and testing requirements into the laboratory information management system and manage the transfer of laboratory data and test results between systems.
  • Perform analytical testing according to established procedures and prepare calibration standards, buffers, reagents, and other solutions required for testing activities.
  • Support laboratory operations by receiving supplies and equipment, monitoring inventory levels, maintaining organized work areas, and communicating purchasing needs.
  • Maintain complete and accurate laboratory records while calculating, interpreting, and validating analytical results, including identifying and correcting nonconforming work.
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on laboratory equipment and support complex sample preparation activities such as extraction and digestion procedures.
  • Recommend and support improvements to laboratory methods, technical procedures, and overall laboratory processes.

Ingredients Required For Your Success

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Related laboratory experience.
  • Experience using laboratory information management systems, laboratory instrumentation, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated understanding of laboratory testing methods, technical procedures, documentation practices, and data management.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, initiative, and effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Physical Requirements

This position is based in a laboratory environment and does not involve regular work in or visits to manufacturing facilities.

Compensation

Pay Range:$44,000-$57,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
