WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Serve as primary functional expert supporting Oracle E-Business Suite projects and project accounting processes across a complex manufacturing organization.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into functional designs and system solutions.

  • Configure Oracle EBS Projects modules utilizing standard Oracle functionality and industry best practices.

  • Support project lifecycle processes including project setup, budgeting, forecasting, cost collection, capitalization, billing, revenue recognition, and closeout.

  • Collaborate with Finance, PMO, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Services organizations to improve project execution and visibility.

  • Lead functional design reviews, testing activities, deployments, and production support.

  • Develop and execute SIT, UAT, regression, and deployment validation testing.

  • Troubleshoot business process and application issues while coordinating resolution with technical teams and support partners.

  • Support integrations between Oracle Projects and related systems including Financials, Procurement, Inventory, Time Collection, Manufacturing, CRM, and reporting platforms.

  • Drive process standardization, governance, and adoption of global project management and costing practices.

  • Support ERP upgrades, acquisitions, carve-outs, ERP consolidations, and business transformation initiatives

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field

  • Ideally 5+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite functional experience.

  • Strong expertise in Oracle Projects, Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Accounting, and related Financials integrations.

  • Understanding of project lifecycle management, budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, capitalization, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.

  • Experience gathering business requirements and developing functional specifications.

  • Experience leading testing, deployment, and user training activities.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience supporting engineer-to-order (ETO), project-based manufacturing, construction, infrastructure, industrial equipment, or capital project businesses.

  • Experience with Oracle EBS implementations, upgrades, ERP migrations, acquisitions, or carve-out programs.

  • Knowledge of Oracle Financials, Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Cost Management modules.

  • Understanding of project controls, earned value management, contract billing, and project portfolio management practices.

  • Familiarity with SOX controls, financial governance, and enterprise project management processes.

  • Demonstrates a positive, solution-oriented attitude and thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintaining professionalism, resilience, and focus while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.

  • Takes ownership and accountability for results, follows through on commitments, drives issues to resolution, and proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement.
