Senior Tax Accountant | Family Office | Palo Alto; 2x week | Base + Bonus + Profit Sharing + Fully Paid Benefits!

Join a highly respected Bay Area investment firm with a sophisticated family office supporting its venture platform and affiliated families. This is a great opportunity to join a stable, collaborative finance team with strong tenure while gaining exposure to complex HNW and investment-related tax matters.

The role offers strong work-life balance, profit sharing, fully paid benefits, and the opportunity to work closely with an experienced leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns for HNW individuals, partnerships, and fiduciary entities

• Prepare quarterly tax estimates and annual extensions

• Support complex individual returns, including investment-related K-1s

• Research tax issues and assist with technical questions

• Respond to tax notices and support resolution

• Assist with tax planning and special projects

• Handle highly confidential financial information with discretion

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field

• 4+ years of tax experience

• Strong Form 1040 / complex individual tax experience

• HNW individual tax experience required

• Partnership and fiduciary return experience preferred

• Trust, private wealth, or family office experience a plus

• CPA preferred

• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills

• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication

• Investment or venture capital industry experience a plus
