Full job description

Job Description

One of Insight Global's Engineering Services partners is seeking a Civil Engineer to support a variety of large-scale industrial projects. This individual will be responsible for developing and reviewing civil engineering designs, coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Develop and review civil engineering deliverables for data center and petrochemical projects.
  • Perform site development, grading, drainage, foundation, and infrastructure design activities.
  • Coordinate with project managers, designers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Support project planning, cost estimating, and construction execution activities.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and technical documents for quality and compliance.
  • Provide engineering support during construction and help resolve field-related issues as they arise.
  • Manage multiple projects ranging from approximately $50M to $200M+ Total Installed Cost (TIC).

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to support complex, high-value industrial projects in a collaborative engineering environment.

Skills and Requirements

  • College degree in Civil Engineering required
  • PE License
  • 7-15 years of experience
  • Onshore, Downstream, Petrochemical projects ranging from 50k – 200MM TIC (Total Project Cost)
  • Greenfield and brownfield project experience
  • At least 4 years working within an EPC engineering firm
  • Must be proficient with STAAD or Risa, Dimensional Solutions, MathCAD (Engineering Softwares)
  • Familiar with Advance Steel, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite (Design Softwares)
  • PE License preferred (7-10 years preferred. 10+ Must Have)
