About the role
The Meals Senior Account Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth and expanding Kerry's Taste and Nutrition portfolio within one large, strategically important U.S. customer. This is a highly complex key account with multiple business units, stakeholder groups, product categories, and commercial priorities. The role requires an enterprise-wide account perspective, disciplined account planning, and the ability to align customer needs with Kerry's capabilities across taste, seasonings, dairy, stocks and broths, smoke, and related solutions. Reporting to the Senior Director of Meals, this position serves as a trusted advisor to senior customer stakeholders, owns the commercial strategy and sales P&L for the account, and leads cross-functional execution across Kerry. The Senior Account Manager will also provide direct people leadership for one Account Manager, including coaching, prioritization, performance support, and development. This role must be based within approximately 60 miles of the Minneapolis-St. Paul area to travel to the customer frequently.
Key responsibilities

Lead the commercial strategy, growth, and business performance for a large, complex strategic customer with multiple business units.

Build and maintain strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.

Identify, develop, and close growth opportunities across Kerry's Taste and Nutrition portfolio.Own account profitability, forecasting, pricing, contract negotiations, and overall sales performance.Develop and execute strategic account plans that drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and long-term customer success.

Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial teams to deliver innovative customer solutions.

Lead, coach, and develop one direct report while fostering a high-performance, collaborative team environment.Leverage market insights, customer knowledge, and data to influence strategy and uncover new growth opportunities.
Qualifications and skills

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, Culinary Arts, or a related field preferred.

10+ years of sales, strategic account management, or commercial leadership experience, preferably within food ingredients, CPG, or related industries.

Proven success managing large, complex strategic customer relationships and driving profitable growth.

Experience leading and developing high-performing commercial teams.

Strong commercial acumen, including account planning, pricing, forecasting, negotiations, and P&L management.

Demonstrated ability to develop and execute growth strategies that deliver revenue and margin expansion.

Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior customer stakeholders.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and value-selling capabilities.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively across diverse business functions.Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications.
The pay range for this position is $156,600.00 - $198,037.50 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and Location. In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation. Kerry offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, Employee Share Plan, Life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
