INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST

Summary

You will serve as a GG-0132-13 Intelligence Specialist at the FARRAGUT TECHNICAL ANALYSIS CENTER in Suitland, MD. As a senior Acoustic Intelligence (ACINT) analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting raw ACINT data.

Duties

• You will exploit acoustic data using specialized signal processing and analysis equipment and software installed in the National ACINT Laboratory (NAIL).
• You will employ Target Motion Analysis (TMA) techniques and analytical techniques used in Sound Pressure Level (SPL) measurements, acoustic signal processing theory, and sensor certification.
• You will develop new/revise existing formal intelligence products and assessments relative to the capability of foreign countries to undertake certain naval operations (including briefings, automated/manual data bases, studies, estimates, analysis).

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GG/GS-12) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, such as: Serve as a senior Acoustic Intelligence (ACINT) Analyst responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting raw ACINT data. Develop new and revise existing formal intelligence products and assessments relative to the capability of foreign countries to undertake certain naval operations (to include briefings, automated and manual databases, studies, estimates and analysis).
