The Opportunity
This position works out of our Lake Forest location in the Molecular Diagnostics division. Our molecular division delivers best-in-class innovative testing solutions for people around the world to provide answers to life’s critical health decisions. We help people live full and healthy lives through our accessible, molecular-based solutions.
As the Sr. Financial Analyst, you’ll have the chance to Support the AMD US Commercial organization as the primary owner of SG&A budget planning, supporting sales and margin forecasting, monthly actuals reporting, and variance analysis, in addition to ad hoc support of the LAC Commercial organization while reporting to the US Commercial Finance Manager. This is an area-level FP&A opportunity with a focus on the 5-line P&L and full Balance Sheet.
What You’ll Work On

Owning the forecasting and variance tracking for $20MM of SG&A spending for the US Commercial Organization.

Develop and maintain in-depth sales analytics to strengthen our forecasting efforts, challenging the sales team to achieve expectations and provide insights to commercial organization leaders.

Create a balance sheet forecast for the US Commercial organization and track against results monthly, ensuring alignment with P&L forecasting done by the organization.

Assist in the month-end close process by completing Monthly Journal Entries and assisting in completing monthly commentary tracking variances vs. forecast.

Assist with ad hoc requests across both the US and LAC Commercial organizations as required.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree with concentration in accounting or finance.
-
3- 5 years of finance experience to include roles of increasing responsibility in accounting and or finance.

Demonstrated ability to provide data and analysis to support decision making, methodical approach to problem-solving and rational ideas supporting them.

Ability to keep learning and to teach others, traditional accounting knowledge and facilitator of management needs, streamlining functions within the department.

The base pay for this position is $78,000.00 – $156,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
