DESCRIPTION

The Senior Client Engagement Manager (SCEM) is responsible for the negotiation, creation, approval, and implementation of complex and strategic projects. These responsibilities include project development, budget management, execution monitoring, issue resolution, reporting, up-selling, and invoicing. The SCEM is responsible for mentoring and training CEMs. The SCEM must also manage all related financial activities within CROSSMARK’s process and act as a leader in the organization. The role is expected to be a champion of the current process and must be a process innovator throughout the organization while providing a high level of service to client representatives and co-workers and assisting the organization in achieving a service excellence culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing complex and strategic national sales plans for our clients and retailers operating within the approved financial guidelines.

  • Achieving annual client budgets.

  • Establishing, maintaining, and enhancing sound client relationships.

  • Facilitation and loading of all retail projects in the assignment tool while following established rules and guidelines.

  • Monitoring and reporting project results.

  • Collaborate with management team members to ensure complete and timely execution of all retail tasks

  • Initiate and drive process improvement. Provide documentation and backup.

  • Ensuring all billing is accurate and timely via established rules and guidelines to include a review of current client bill rates, addresses, and authorized retailers.

  • Maintain accuracy of authorized client billing form.

  • Responsible for ensuring CROSSMARK receives payment for all invoiced work.

  • Actively seek opportunities to up-sell existing and new client base.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience : Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent work experience; highly experienced in retail operations and a knowledge of basic accounting principles.

Specific Skills :

  • Possess negotiation, project management, research, analysis, and presentation skills;

  • Completion of formal CROSSMARK training program for Client Engagement Managers

Computer Skills: PC knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office products; Strong Excel skills: Data Manipulation (filtering, sorting, freezing panes), Pivot Tables (summarizing/analyzing large data sets in Excel) and VLookups (quickly pulling in information from a lookup table); SalesTrak skills: project loading, store list creation and reporting (project summary, store detail, exceptions, workload)

Physical Requirements:

  • Sit for extended periods (typically 6+ hours per day).

  • Use a computer, including keyboard and mouse, for prolonged periods.

  • Lift and carry light items (e.g., files, office supplies, laptops, typically 20+ pounds).

  • Reach, bend, or stoop occasionally to access files or office materials.

  • Maintain focus and attention for long periods of desk-based work.

  • Follow clear directions.

  • Perform repetitive motions (e.g., typing, clicking) consistently throughout the day.

Supervisory Responsibilities : May have some supervisory responsibility based on business need.

Work Environment : Primarily office environment with mild to moderate noise levels. Frequent interaction with co-workers, vendors and consultants.

Language Skills: English is the primary language skill; however, bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
