Full job description

Our client, a leading facilities management organization, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting building operations and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, proactive problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Technician/ Building HVAC Technician

Location: Lake City, UT

Pay Rate: $30- 34/hr

What's the Job?

  • Monitor and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, water cooling, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance.

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment, including boilers, pumps, valves, and piping.

  • Oversee contractor activities within the building, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

  • Identify safety hazards and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe environment for staff and occupants.

  • Manage inventory of tools and supplies, prepare purchase orders, and ensure availability of necessary materials.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 5 years of facility-related work experience, including leadership and supervisory roles.

  • HVAC and EPA certifications are mandatory; electrical certifications are also required.

  • Experience with CMMS systems, specifically Corrigo, is essential.

  • Knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, and plumbing, with the ability to troubleshoot effectively.

  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to safety and maintenance management.
