Full job description

Our client, a leading organization in the construction and manufacturing industry, is seeking a Rebar Fabricator I to join their team. As a Rebar Fabricator I, you will be part of the production department supporting the rebar fabrication process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong work ethic, and teamwork skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Rebar Fabricator I

Location: Eldridge, IA

Pay Range: $18

Shift: 5am-3pm

What's the Job?

  • Examine specifications of customer orders using drawings or blueprints to determine finished item characteristics and machine setup requirements.

  • Pull, cut, bend, and weld rebar assemblies to sizes specified in engineering prints to support production schedules.

  • Bend and create pull-pins for the cover casting department.

  • Stage rebar material handling skid and storage rack to support production activities.

  • Assist rebar benders in placing, lifting, and positioning metal bars for bending operations, and reposition work-pieces for initial and subsequent bends.

  • Ability to interpret drawings and blueprints accurately.

  • Basic understanding of rebar fabrication and handling procedures.

  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

  • Willingness to learn and follow safety policies and procedures.

  • No prior experience required; training will be provided.
