Regional Tool Specialist
Location: Any East Region Viking Electric Location (Wausau, Green Bay, Oshkosh, Sheboygan, Madison, Milwaukee...)
Job Type: Full-TimeSchedule: Monday-Friday | Standard Business Hours
Compensation: $66,000 - $90,000
Compensation includes competitive base salary, a 10% annual incentive opportunity, and a comprehensive benefits package. Base salary varies based on experience, skills, and geographic location.
What You'll Do
Drive profitable growth in Viking Electric's tool business by serving as the region's tool expert and sales champion. Partner with Account Managers, Sales Representatives, Tool Champions, suppliers, and branch leadership to expand customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and increase market share across the region.
You will…

Grow tool sales and profitability by identifying opportunities with existing and prospective customers.

Support Account Managers and Sales Representatives through customer visits, joint sales calls, product recommendations, and technical expertise.

Serve as the primary resource for tool-related product selection, training, troubleshooting, and customer support.

Build strong relationships with supplier partners to support sales growth, promotions, and product training.

Visit Viking Electric locations throughout the region to support Tool Champions, maintain displays, and assist with branch events and promotions.

Coordinate tool presentations, trade school events, and customer purchasing programs.

Develop and execute an annual sales plan focused on profitable growth and market development.

Track sales performance and communicate insights on customers, products, trends, and growth opportunities.

Partner with Product Management and Marketing to develop sales initiatives and ensure marketing materials remain relevant and effective.

Stay current on industry trends, products, and supplier training.
What You Bring
Requirements:
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in tool, electrical, industrial, construction, or related product sales.

Strong understanding of Viking Electric systems, products, and customer base preferred.
-
Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and drive sales growth.
-
Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
-
High School Diploma or GED required.
-
Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned region.
-
Valid driver's license required.
