As a Rides Shift Lead , you'll play a key role in the daily operation of our attraction, supporting the Rides team while serving as a leader, coach, and safety champion. You will help create magical experiences for our guests by leading front-line team members, maintaining high operational standards, and ensuring best-in-class safety and service practices are consistently delivered.

The ideal candidate will be able to work weekdays, weekends and holidays and have open availability.

What You'll Do

As a Rides Shift Lead, you will:

  • Act as the department's Supervisor on Duty , leading day-to-day rides operations.

  • Delegate, coordinate, and monitor daily assignments for front-line team members.

  • Inspire and motivate the team to deliver memorable, guest-focused experiences.

  • Ensure all rides and operational areas adhere to company health, safety, and operating procedures.

  • Manage guest flow and queues to maintain safe and efficient operations.

  • Resolve guest concerns with professionalism, empathy, and a commitment to excellent service.

  • Support and deliver team member training programs while maintaining accurate training records.

  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members to help them grow and succeed.

  • Conduct operational audits, assist with employee engagement initiatives, and support department improvement projects.

  • Lead by example, stepping into ride host positions when needed to support daily operations.

Qualifications & Experience

What We're Looking For

We're searching for an enthusiastic and confident leader who is passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences and empowering others to do the same.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Previous customer service experience preferred.

  • Minimum six months of experience in attractions, rides, entertainment, hospitality, retail, or another guest-focused environment preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and coach team members.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office and other workplace software applications.

  • Ability to maintain accurate records, documentation, and training materials.
