  • Assist with all phases of property acquisitions, as directed by the Director, Resource Planning, including investment modeling, due diligence, parcelization, and closing.

  • Assist with reviews of annual Long-Term Plans (LTPs), Comprehensive Property Management Plans (CPMPs), and third-party appraisals.

  • Prepare investment and educational materials for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Support MIMT accounting and portfolio management teams by providing information and analysis, including investment modeling, investment analysis, and value-added decision support.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in forestry or equivalent experience.

  • Graduate degree in a forestry-related discipline or business is highly desirable.

  • At least two years of experience in timber valuation, resource modeling, forest management planning, timberland investment planning, or forest operations.

  • Understanding of forest finance, discounted cash flow analysis, forest inventory, woodflow optimization, GIS, and desktop productivity applications.

  • Working knowledge of growth and yield models, harvest scheduling, silviculture, and forest operations.

  • General knowledge of forestry across commercial forest investment regions worldwide.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.

  • Proficient writing skills, with the ability to prepare professional reports and management plans.

  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach.

  • Highly motivated and entrepreneurial mindset.

  • Strong verbal communication skills.

When you join our team:

  • We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.

  • We’ll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words.

  • As part of our global team, we’ll support you in shaping the future you want to see.
