Summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties

  • You will perform analyses and support functions in the preparation of budget estimates and financial plans that advance organizational programs and activities.
  • You will review budget submissions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established regulations and guidance.
  • You will ensure that all actions are documented and traceable to support future audits and reviews.
  • You will prepare timely, accurate, and audit ready financial reports reflecting the status of organizational resources.
  • You will manage tasks related to accounting systems, payroll operations, cash control, and benefit programs.

Qualifications

GS-09: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: interpreting and applying budgetary, accounting, and financial policies, procedures, and regulations; utilizing financial management systems, automation, and analytical tools to execute and monitor financial activities to improve the efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness of financial operations and reporting. GS-07: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting with the interpretation and application of budgetary, accounting, and financial policies, procedures, and regulations; supporting the use of financial management systems, automation, and analytical tools to process, track, and monitor financial activities; and assisting with maintaining accurate, compliant, and audit-ready financial records and reports. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: GS-07: I have successfully completed 1 full year of graduate level education OR Superior Academic Achievement GS-09: I have successfully completed a Master's or equivalent graduate degree OR I have successfully completed 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR I have successfully completed LL.B. or J.D., if related to the position being filled. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. PCS is not authorized. Incentives (e.g., recruitment, relocation, etc.) may be authorized. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
