Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Scheduler/Scheduler II for a top heavy civil construction client. This candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules for roadway, bridge, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on heavy civil construction knowledge with strong scheduling expertise, using Primavera P6 to manage project timelines, track progress, identify risks, and support successful project execution. This individual will work closely with project leadership and field teams to ensure schedules accurately reflect construction activities and drive project success.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • 4-7 years of construction experience
  • Heavy civil or horizontal construction experience (roadways, bridges, tunnels, etc.)
  • Experience on roadway, bridge, highway, transit, utility, or infrastructure projects
  • Previous work in the field (starting out as a field engineer, project engineer, project manager)
  • Demonstrated scheduling experience within a construction environment
  • Primavera P6 experience
  • Understanding of CPM scheduling, construction sequencing, and project controls
  • Experience developing, updating, and maintaining project schedules
  • Working directly with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and field teams
  • Design-build or alternative delivery project experience
  • Recovery scheduling experience
  • Time impact analysis experience
  • Delay analysis, claims support, or change order experience
  • Experience creating bid schedules and baseline schedules
  • Experience mentoring junior schedulers
  • Working on P3 projects (Public Private Partnership - when a public company partners with a private company to complete a project)
