Job Description

A space manufacturing company in the Yorba Linda, CA area is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their integration and test team. test scripting for system integration, acceptance testing, development of acceptance test plans/procedures, and test validation techniques. Navigation Solutions products deliver advanced military GPS and other Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) capabilities for use across weapons, ground, airborne, maritime, and space environments. Other day to day responsibilities include:

  • Perform hands-on system engineering, test deployment, and execution roles.

  • Proficient in the operation and understanding of wireless/RF test equipment, such as signal analyzers, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.

  • Develop test automation, including equipment drivers, debug tools, automation scripts, database interfaces, and reporting tools.

  • Creation of Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP)

  • Plan and set up complex production lab environments for end-to-end automation, including knowledge of lab networks and power supplies.

  • Working alongside other groups within MBSE, test, simulation, and software teams

Skills and Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or a relevant degree
  • 4+ years of experience working with navigation, radio frequency, GPS
  • Experience leveraging data within Python, MATLAB, or SQL
  • DOORS experience
  • Agile methodology experience and working with JIRA tools
  • Hardware implementation and embedded software implementation experience
  • Any experience in Anti-jam technologies
