Full job description
The NYU Motor Speech Lab is seeking a part-time data processor to join a federally-funded project investigating how motor-based speech treatment influences speech motor control in children with childhood apraxia of speech. Responsibilities include transcribing and rating word productions, as well as processing and analyzing acoustic data. Incumbents will work 8 hours per week.
This appointment will run through August 31, 2027, with the possibility of renewal contingent on lab needs and the availability of funds.
This position is fully remote.
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the hourly pay for this position is $22. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
Required: Applicants must have completed an undergraduate degree in communicative sciences and disorders, or a related discipline.
Preferred: We are looking for an individual with strong technical and problem-solving skills who also demonstrates exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
