Job Duties

IDR is seeking a Data Engineer. The role involves supporting CAKS applications and data sources by designing and maintaining reliable data flows, validating data quality, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting application and data integrations. This remote position combines hands-on work with collaboration and technical guidance, utilizing modern data pipeline technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview for the Data Engineer:

Support CAKS applications and data sources by designing and maintaining reliable data flows.

Validate data quality and troubleshoot production issues related to data pipelines.

Assist with content, metadata, and ingestion issues involving CDAPI syndication clients, TopBraid, and Content Catalog.

Support application and data integrations, ensuring seamless data movement and accuracy.

Translate business requirements into sustainable, scalable data solutions.

Requirements for the Data Engineer:

5+ years of experience in data engineering or application analysis.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience.

5+ years of hands-on experience programming in SQL.

3+ years of experience building and maintaining automated data pipelines using batch and/or streaming processes.

Experience with data integration, movement, validation, and troubleshooting metadata and ingestion issues.

Compensation Range: $65 – $68/hour
