Warehouse and Kitting Technician

Program Summary

KBR’s Aviation & Ground Systems Directorate provides Systems Engineering & Integration support to the Army’s Aviation and Ground soldiers with project based and full-time personnel support services. KBR sets the standard with a wide range of services including Government Engineering, Logistics, Business, and International focuses, while ensuring customer satisfaction and providing excellence in contract deliverables.

The P rototype, Integration, and Design (PID) facility manufactures and integrates electronic components into both ground and aviation systems in support of DoD and Commercial applications .

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Bag and tag items for technical builds .

  • Correctly identify, count, isolate and label inventory items.

  • Perform wire marking with a laser marking machine .

  • Manage and print labels for bags, boxes and wire.

  • Read and interpret Bill s of Material , Pick List s, and drawings .

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma

  • 2 years’ experience in a warehouse setting

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 3 0 pounds

  • Basic computer skills using MS Office products

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years’ experience building wire harnesses

  • IPC-610, IPC-620, and J-STD certification

  • Experience with electronics or electronic components

  • Experience identifying wire and electronic components
