Cook or Dishwasher

Our client in Indianola is seeking cooks and dishwashers to join their team. As a cook or dishwasher, you will be part of the food service supporting team. The ideal candidate will have good manners, perfect attendance and attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cook or Dishwasher

Location: Indianola

Pay Range: $16 to $20

What’s the Job?

Cook

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards

• Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control

• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

• Assist with inventory, stocking, and kitchen organization

• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils

• Provide excellent service to guests and team members

Dishwasher:

• Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dish room, and storage areas

• Remove trash and assist with recycling procedures

• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines

• Support kitchen staff with cleaning and stocking tasks

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

What’s Needed?

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is helpful but not required
