This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and technical teams, providing strategic guidance on robotics technologies, control systems, autonomous systems, and robotics commercialization efforts. The ideal candidate is a recognized thought leader within the robotics industry who can provide insight into emerging technologies, industry trends, technical roadmaps, and real-world deployment strategies.

This is a flexible, part-time advisory engagement averaging 15-20 hours per month. Support may include participating in strategic discussions, reviewing technical initiatives, evaluating new capabilities, providing guidance on robotics architectures and control systems, and delivering recommendations tied to specific project needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Advise leadership on robotics strategy, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
  • Review technical roadmaps and provide recommendations on future product capabilities and engineering priorities.
  • Provide expertise on robotics control systems, autonomous systems, perception, navigation, and robotic software development.
  • Evaluate approaches for developing, testing, and deploying robotics solutions in real-world environments.
  • Advise on simulation environments, digital twins, and simulation-to-real workflows used to validate robotics systems.
  • Provide guidance on robotics commercialization efforts and the transition from research to operational deployment.
  • Assess competitive activity, technology advancements, and market adoption across the robotics industry.
  • Participate in leadership meetings, technical reviews, and quarterly planning sessions as needed.
  • Develop recommendations, technical assessments, and other advisory deliverables tied to defined project tasking.
  • Leverage industry relationships and professional networks to provide insight into robotics innovation, manufacturing automation, and emerging market opportunities.

Compensation: $200/hr to $230/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
