Night Shift Coordinator

South San Francisco, CA

Pay: Depending on experience

Employment Type: Full-time, temp-to-hire

Available Schedules:

  • Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 PM–6:00 AM

We are seeking an organized, dependable Night Shift Coordinator to support warehouse, transportation, and logistics operations for a food distribution company. This role works closely with warehouse associates, drivers, dispatch, and management to keep orders accurate and deliveries on schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate nightly warehouse activities, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment.

  • Support driver dispatch, route assignments, and delivery schedules.

  • Communicate route changes, delays, and operational priorities.

  • Maintain accurate records, enter orders, and prepare shift reports.

  • Assist with invoicing, billing reconciliation, and customer documentation.

  • Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate with internal teams.

  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation coordination, warehouse operations, or administrative support.

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.

  • Availability to work the listed shifts, plus overtime and weekends as needed.

Preferred Experience:

  • Food distribution or cold-storage operations.

  • Driver dispatch, routing, GPS, or fleet tracking systems.

  • Inventory management and order processing.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish.

Work Environment: Fast-paced warehouse and logistics setting with exposure to refrigerated areas and standing or walking throughout the facility as needed.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $38.00 per hour
