Full job description
Position Summary

Works under the supervision of the Licensed Nurse. Performs tasks related to basic nursing care, and additional procedures according to documented competency.

Performs other duties as required.
Education, Work Experience and Licensure:

Must be at least 16 years or older.

STNA Requirement:
o All aides hired in must complete the course work required and successfully pass the state test for nursing assistants within 6 months, as applicable and offered by Holzer Health Systems.
o Current nursing assistants have 12 months to complete course work and state testing.
o Exceptions include aides with 10+ years of Holzer aide experience or currently enrolled into healthcare course work.
o Any STNA certified outside the state of Ohio, must complete the Nurse Aide Request for Reciprocity form and submit to the state of Ohio.
o Must complete 12 hours training to retain STNA certification, per calendar year.

Prior experience in a comparable post-acute facility preferred.

BLS Required, within 60 days of hire

First aide training required, within 30 days of hire

Driving record must be acceptable by HHS insurance and willingness to drive company vehicle to transport residents as needed (excludes minors).
