Full job description
Summary:
People Development accelerates the performance of every Metamate, team, and leader — building the capabilities, culture, and human-AI partnerships that power Meta's future. We help people thrive through continuous change, grow more valuable over time, and choose to stay. We do this through coaching, team development, leadership experiences, performance systems, and skills at scale — all working as an integrated system, not a set of disconnected programs. This individual contributor role sits on the Executive Development team, which delivers best-in-class development to Meta's senior most leaders as they forge the future at a transformational moment in the company's history. You will focus on the strategy, planning, and operational systems of Executive Development and its learning experiences, ensuring the work we do addresses real needs, is targeted, and makes a real difference to our leaders and the business.
Required Skills:
Program Manager, Executive Development Responsibilities:
-
Own the portfolio and prioritization system. Design and run the system and recurring reviews that keep all Executive Development work visible, scoped, and prioritized — including which design ideas are queued, committed, or parked, so the agenda is deliberate rather than reactive.
-
Serve as strategic thought partner to the VP, Executive Development. Bring evidence, options, and a recommendation, and guide annual and quarterly planning.
-
Protect team and senior leader capacity. Sequence high-value design and delivery work, make overcommitment visible before it affects delivery, flag when timelines are at risk of collapsing, and escalate with ranked options rather than problems.
-
Own everything that happens before a cohort starts: curation and selection, the invitation list and cohort timing, the design cycle and its decision gates, and the faculty partnership — setting the experience standard the program is held to.
-
Develop the faculty, coach, and vendor bench. Build bench depth, define how facilitators are matched to programs, and run the quality evaluation that informs future assignments.
-
Partner with the VP and design partners on the design and modernization of learning experiences. Bring delivery, participant, and measurement evidence, pressure-test feasibility, and translate design intent into work the team can build and run.
-
Build new offerings end to end — the build plan, coordination with designers, decision gates, and the launch and communications strategy for an executive audience, including leading socialization with senior stakeholders directly.
-
Build and ship AI-enabled learning experiences that modernize how senior leaders learn, reflect, and are coached — judging what should be AI-enabled versus left human, and holding the bar on participant experience and privacy.
-
Own measurement and the insight narrative. Define what we measure and why, synthesize themes across programs, and answer "is this working?" with evidence that shapes investment and retirement decisions.
-
Build relationships and influence cross-functional partners early. Work with recruiting and HR partners while new initiatives are still being shaped, securing early line of sight into changes that affect the portfolio.
-
Jump in and manage evolving priorities, including planning and executing special projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
