Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack .NET Developer to join our team and play a key role in designing, developing, and modernizing enterprise applications that support critical business operations. This individual will be responsible for building scalable web applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET 8, Angular or React, SQL Server, and AWS cloud technologies, while partnering with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
In this role, you will develop both front-end and back-end components, design and optimize SQL Server databases, build and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and integrate applications with enterprise authentication platforms such as Active Directory, Azure AD, SSO, and OAuth. You will also contribute to cloud migration and application modernization initiatives by transitioning legacy .NET applications to modern AWS-based architectures.
The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex technical challenges, troubleshooting production issues, participating in code reviews, and implementing best practices around security, scalability, and performance. Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions and working within Agile development environments is essential for success in this role.
This position offers the opportunity to work on high-impact enterprise solutions while leveraging modern development tools, cloud technologies, and automation practices to drive innovation across the organization.
Candidates must be willing to work a hybrid schedule in Houston, Texas. Salary range: $130,000-150,000.
Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
5+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies.
Strong experience with C#, .NET Framework and/or .NET Core/.NET 8, ASP.NET MVC, Web API development, and Microsoft SQL Server.
Hands-on experience developing modern web applications using Angular, React, Blazor, or similar front-end frameworks.
Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
Strong knowledge of SQL development, including stored procedures, indexing strategies, database design, and query optimization.
Experience with source control and DevOps tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.
Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum software development methodologies.
Experience developing, deploying, and supporting applications within AWS cloud environments.
Hands-on experience with AWS services including ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, and IAM.
Experience modernizing legacy applications and migrating solutions to cloud-based architectures.
Familiarity with Docker containers and containerized application deployments.
Experience working with enterprise identity and authentication technologies, including Active Directory, Azure AD, OAuth2, SAML, Kerberos, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive team environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality technical solutions that align with business objectives. Experience with cloud migration or digital transformation initiatives.
Experience working within highly regulated or enterprise-scale environments.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven design patterns.
AWS or Microsoft cloud certifications are a plus.
Experience implementing automated testing and DevSecOps practices.
