The team delivers expert general maintenance support across multiple locations, ensuring equipment operates efficiently while meeting safety and environmental standards. They collaborate with management and business partners to prioritize tasks, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely service. Responsible for managing parts inventory and refrigerant levels, the team follows industry regulations and company policies. Focused on continuous improvement, they support business goals by offering reliable solutions and maintaining strong partnerships to address operational and customer needs, ensuring optimal system performance and compliance throughout all maintenance activities.

What you'll do:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities, equipment, and fixtures.

• Inspect, clean, and repair facilities and equipment, documenting signs of wear and maintenance activities.

• Utilize multiple craft skills including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry to complete minor repairs under supervision.

• Diagnose issues using blueprints, manuals, and testing equipment; dismantle and replace defective parts as needed.

• Operate heavy machinery and motor vehicles safely, conducting pre- and post-operation inspections.

• Respond to emergency maintenance calls promptly and document repair work accurately.

• Comply with safety regulations and company policies while supporting ethical standards and continuous improvement.

What you'll bring:

• Experience performing routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs across multiple crafts including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.

• Ability to inspect, diagnose, and document facility and equipment conditions using blueprints, manuals, and repair catalogs.

• Proficiency in operating hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery, and material handling equipment safely and effectively.

• Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and compliance with OSHA and EPA standards.

• Strong organizational skills to complete maintenance documentation, manage parts requests, and submit warranty claims.

• Capability to respond promptly to emergency maintenance needs and prioritize work assignments efficiently.

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 - $45.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

Valid state-issued driver’s license and able to pass motor vehicle report.

Option 1: 1 year’s experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area. Option 2: 2 years’ Walmart store experience.
