📍 Lincolnton, NC (Onsite 5 Days/Week)

Are you an HR professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats, building relationships across the organization, and making a direct impact on a growing business? We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization in the Lincolnton area that is seeking an HR Generalist to support recruiting, onboarding, payroll administration, and employee relations while helping the company continue its growth trajectory.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, working closely with leadership, and expanding their HR responsibilities over time. Strong candidates with HR Manager-level experience will also be considered.

What You'll Do

• Lead recruiting efforts for hourly manufacturing and production positions

• Manage partnerships with staffing agencies and assist with converting temporary employees to permanent hires

• Coordinate onboarding activities, including new hire paperwork, pre-employment screenings, background checks, drug testing, and E-Verify

• Oversee and process weekly payroll through Paylocity, ensuring accuracy for both hourly and salaried employees

• Maintain employee records and support HR compliance initiatives

• Assist with benefits administration and employee communications

• Partner with leadership on workforce planning and hiring needs

• Help strengthen relationships with local colleges, workforce development organizations, and recruiting events

• Support employee engagement, retention, and organizational growth initiatives

• Serve as a trusted HR resource for managers and employees throughout the organization

Requirements

What We're Looking For

✅ 3+ years of progressive HR experience

✅ Strong recruiting and talent acquisition experience, particularly in high-volume or manufacturing environments

✅ Experience supporting payroll processing

✅ Knowledge of onboarding, employment compliance, and HR best practices

✅ Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization

✅ Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities

✅ Desire to grow professionally and take on increasing responsibility

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment

• Experience with Paylocity or a similar HRIS/payroll platform

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are highly preferred

• HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar) is a plus
