Assistant Production Supervisor

Lead People. Drive Performance. Make an Impact.

Are you a hands-on manufacturing leader who thrives on developing people, improving processes, and achieving results? We are seeking an Assistant Production Supervisor to lead a high-performing production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys being on the production floor, coaching employees, solving operational challenges, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that make a measurable impact.

As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, support employee development, promote a strong safety culture, and ensure production goals are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and teamwork.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 15-30 production employees and team leads.

  • Drive daily performance in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.

  • Provide visible leadership on the production floor and foster a culture of accountability and engagement.

  • Conduct employee coaching, performance discussions, and development planning.

  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, cross-training, and succession planning efforts.

  • Champion Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts to eliminate recurring issues.

  • Monitor production performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement sustainable solutions.

  • Partner closely with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, Logistics, HR, and EHS teams to achieve operational objectives.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, environmental, and company standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate employees while building a positive team culture.

  • Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Experience driving Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ability to analyze problems, make sound decisions, and prioritize competing demands.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field preferred.

Compensation Range-$35-$40/hour

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greeley, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
