Job Descriptions:
Sigmatech is seeking a highly qualified Space and Missile Defense Operations Subject Matter Expert/Operations Manager to provide contractor support to the Space and Missile DefenseG43 section of the G4 (Logistics) staff. The position supports Army space and missile defense planning, integration, coordination, and execution across sustainment and logistics activities.
The successful candidate will provide analytical, operational, and staff support to enable effective integration of space and missile defense capabilities into logistics planning and Army operations.
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct staff support to the G43 in the planning, coordination, and execution of space and missile defense-related logistics activities.

Support the development, staffing, coordination, and maintenance of operational plans, orders, briefings, decision papers, and other staff products.

Integrate space and missile defense requirements into logistics and sustainment planning.

Analyze operational requirements, logistics data, and mission priorities to identify resource, readiness, and sustainment considerations.

Coordinate with G4 staff sections, subordinate commands, higher headquarters, joint organizations, and interagency/mission partners as appropriate.

Support planning and synchronization of space-enabled capabilities and missile defense requirements with Army logistics operations.

Prepare and deliver briefings, information papers, staff estimates, and recommendations for senior leaders.

Track taskings, suspense dates, action items, and organizational requirements through completion.

Support exercises, training events, command-post activities, and operational planning sessions.

Conduct research and analysis related to space, missile defense, logistics, force structure, readiness, and operational requirements.

Maintain situational awareness of current and emerging Army space and missile defense capabilities and their implications for logistics operations.

Assist with the development and refinement of standard operating procedures, processes, and analytical products.

Perform other duties in support of the G4/G43 mission as assigned.
Required Experience:
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, operations, business, engineering, military science, national security, or a related field; equivalent military or professional experience may be considered.
-
Experience supporting Army, DoD, or joint logistics, operations, planning, or staff functions.
-
Experience working within military staff processes and organizational structures.
-
Knowledge of Army logistics and sustainment operations.
-
Experience developing staff products, briefings, plans, and analytical assessments.
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-
Ability to work independently while effectively coordinating across multiple organizations.
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams.
-
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience supporting Army Space and Missile Defense organizations or missions.
-
Familiarity with Army space operations, missile defense, air and missile defense, or related capabilities.

Experience supporting a G4/G43, logistics operations, or comparable military staff.
-
Prior Army or DoD logistics experience.
-
Experience supporting large-scale exercises, operational planning, or command-post operations.
-
Familiarity with Army planning processes, doctrine, and staff procedures.
-
Experience working with joint, interagency, or multinational partners.
-
PMP, DAU, Lean Six Sigma, logistics, or other relevant professional certification.
