Description

We are seeking an IT Access Analyst to support enterprise-wide access administration and identity governance activities. This role is responsible for ensuring appropriate user access to applications, databases, and technology systems while maintaining compliance with security policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with access management, account administration, recertification processes, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support user access management activities across applications, databases, and enterprise systems.

  • Conduct periodic access recertification reviews to ensure user access remains appropriate and compliant with corporate security requirements.

  • Gather, analyze, and format access-related data from multiple systems to support recertification and audit activities.

  • Review recertification results, identify discrepancies, and coordinate corrective actions with system owners and business stakeholders.

  • Manage communications related to access reviews, remediation efforts, and recertification completion.

  • Ensure timely processing of user access modifications, removals, and entitlement adjustments.

  • Process application and database recertifications utilizing established governance and administration tools.

  • Resolve access-related incidents and service requests through the IT Service Management (ITSM) platform while meeting established SLAs.

  • Serve as an escalation point for complex access administration issues and assist in troubleshooting access-related problems.

  • Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and process controls related to access governance activities.

  • Partner with IT, security, audit, and business teams to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Generate reports and metrics for leadership review and support internal and external audit requests.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in IT, access management, security administration, or a related business environment.

  • Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) principles and user lifecycle processes.

  • Experience with application and/or database account administration.

  • Familiarity with audit controls, compliance frameworks, and segregation of duties concepts.

  • Understanding of regulatory requirements such as Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong understanding of database concepts.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including interaction with technical teams, business stakeholders, and management.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting access recertification or identity governance programs.

  • Exposure to ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.

  • Experience supporting audit activities and compliance reporting.

  • Knowledge of information security controls and risk management practices.

  • Experience working within large enterprise environments.

This is a Contract position based out of Waukegan, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
