Full job description

Adecco is currently hiring a Financial Records Assistant for a temporary opportunity on 2nd shift! If you are detail-oriented, organized, and enjoy working with financial documentation and records management, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Pay Rate

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule

1st Shift: 8am-5pm

Position Overview

The Financial Records Assistant will support the finance team by maintaining accurate and secure financial records. This role is responsible for logging, organizing, filing, indexing, and boxing financial documents to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-focused, and comfortable working with confidential financial information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain financial documents including invoices, receipts, bank statements, ledgers, and reports.

  • Prepare, label, index, and box financial records for secure storage and easy retrieval.

  • Maintain accurate financial records related to purchases, sales, payments, and receipts.

  • Enter and update financial information in company databases and accounting systems.

  • Ensure all documentation complies with internal policies and financial regulations.

  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning, copying, filing, and binding documents.

  • Support audit preparation by organizing and providing required documentation.

  • Work closely with accounting and finance personnel to support daily operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

  • Previous experience in accounting, finance, records management, or administrative support.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping practices.

PPE & Dress Code

Steel Toe Shoes and Safety Glasses are required at the time of interview to participate in the facility tour.

Pay Details: $19.00 to $22.00 per hour
