Full job description

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Gynecology NP/PA, you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Tacoma, specializing in diagnosing and treating a wide array of Women’s Health cases making a significant impact on their lives and families. We pride ourselves in practicing high quality, evidence based, and patient centered medicine.

You will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of our patients and their families within Franciscan Medical Group.

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate Gynecology NP/PA, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex GYN patients, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.

  • This is a part-time (.80FTE) position based at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA, a 375 bed Level III Trauma Center.

  • There are 9 OB/GYN physicians, 18 CNM’s, 1 GYN APP, 6 MFM, 1 Urogynecologist and 2 Gynecologic Oncologists at this location.

  • This will be a clinic based position without call or inpatient responsibilities.

  • Procedures include colposcopies, EMBs, IUD insert/removal and nexplanon.

  • Experience with Women’s Health, HRT/Menopause preferred.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority in the State of Washington.

  • Minimum one year of Women’s Health experience preferred

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)

Pay Range

$110,702 - $144,024
