Full job description

NVIDIA is searching for a highly motivated, creative engineer with experience in system software to join the GPU Software team. As someone who is hardworking and passionate about their work, you will contribute towards aspects of game engine profiling and GPU SW. What you’ll be doing:

  • Profile game engines, such as UE5, take advantage of these frameworks to improve game performance for cloud-based GPUs.

  • Work on GPU Pre Silicon and Post Silicon performance profiling and tuning.

What we need to see:

  • Pursuing BS, MS, or PhD university degree in an engineering or computer science related discipline

  • Demonstrate a hand on technical background; excellent C programming, C++, Perl/Python, and Graphics Rendering API, such as DX11/12.

  • You are an asset if you have familiarity with computer system architecture, microprocessor, and microcontroller fundamentals (caches, buses, memory controllers, DMA, etc).

  • Experience with complex system-level debugging is invaluable.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Understanding of Game Engines.

  • Experience working within virtualized environment, such as KVM.

  • Experience working with virtual machines and docker.

  • Familiarity with large scale code profiling.

Our internship pay is based on the position, your location, year in school, degree, and experience. For Poland: the annual range for our interns is 117,750 PLN - 204,100 PLN. (pro-rated for the duration of the internship).
