Medical Office Assistant – Gain Valuable Medical Office Experience

Pay Rate: $20/hour

Schedule: 8a-12p, Mon, Tue, Wed & Fri

Assignment Length: Long-Term

Our client is seeking a Medical Office Assistant for an immediate opening in Kennebunk. We are hiring for a part-time position with a daytime schedule with a healthcare-focused team dedicated to providing personalized wellness services. This position pays $20.00/hour and is a long-term assignments .

Typical daily duties:

  • Greet patients, manage check-in procedures, and answer high-volume phone calls and emails

  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments using electronic health record (EHR) software

  • Collect co-pays, process payments, verify insurance eligibility, and maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines

  • Coordinate referrals, stock office and clinical supplies, and assist with general office support tasks

What we're looking for:

  • Medical office experience preferred but not required

  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 15 pounds

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and successfully complete a background check
