Description

Process line of credit renewals for Commercial Services, including the preparation of loan approval documents. Serve as the appraisal liaison for Commercial Services and Business Banking. Reports to the AVP Commercial Services Administration Manager.

Administrative Responsibilities

Serve as appraisal liaison. This includes facilitating bid requests initially through the Credit Administration Department, engaging with account officers and appraisal companies, as well as with the Bank’s outside firm utilized to review the appraisals.

Process RIM.

Submit relationship change requests to Loan Operations for processing.

Serve as Secretary of Management Loan Committee. Prepare meeting minutes and forward to Assistant Corporate Secretary for monthly Trustee Loan Committee meetings.

Obtain approvals for expense invoices by forwarding to appropriate Team Leaders.

File all loan documents and correspondence as well as track financial information received within the department.

Servicing Responsibilities

Follow and uphold USB Customer Service Standards in interactions with internal and external customers.

Loan Administration Responsibilities

Process basic Commercial and Industrial modifications.

Process withdrawn / declined loans.

Prepare Commercial and Industrial loan closing documents.

Perform UCC-1 and Concord searches and complete CIP review.

Run credit reports.

Review Commercial and Industrial Loan Proposal / Approval forms for CIP and proper approval.

Input HMDA / CRA data in applicable system.

Set up credit files and provide to Vice President of Commercial Services Administration for post closing review.

Process line of credit renewals for Commercial Services, including the preparation of loan approval documents.

Data and Reporting

Review application status tracking report and take appropriate action to ensure regulatory compliance.

Track the receipt of brokerage statements for loans secured by marketable securities, monitor and update values, send report to Loan Servicing for processing and apprise account officers of any loan-to-value deficiencies.

Prepare withdrawn/declined report as well as coordinate files for pickup by Loan Servicing.

Input paid loans in tracking system and prepare files for pickup by Loan Servicing.

Process environmental company requests to become bank approved and complete annual review process.

Process law firm requests to become bank approved and complete annual review process.

Qualifications

Education

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED or better

Preferred

  • Associates or better

Experience

Required

  • 1-2 year: Commercial Services Experience

  • 1-2 year: Banking
