PT NIGHTS 7pm-7am

Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30

Where You Will Work: The Pediatric and Adolescent Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit at Atrium Health Behavioral Health Charlotte is a secure, acute care psychiatric unit providing 24/7 stabilization and treatment for patients experiencing serious mental health conditions. This unit serves patients typically ages 5–17 who require a higher level of care due to safety concerns such as suicidal ideation, self-harm behaviors, psychosis, severe mood disorders, or behavioral dysregulation. We’re Looking For:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
  • Experience in an inpatient psychiatric or crisis setting preferred.
  • Experience in behavioral Health and Ped/Adolescents
  • BSN Preferred.

What You’ll Do: As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

About This Location: Atrium Health Behavioral Health Charlotte, a facility of Carolinas Medical Center, is the only dedicated psychiatric emergency department in the region, and provides treatment across a broad continuum of inpatient and outpatient services. Our center is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This position is for Unit 2-EAST
