Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Program/Project Manager to lead the selection and implementation of a legal AI platform. This individual will own the end-to-end vendor evaluation process, including RFP management, proof-of-concept coordination, score carding, stakeholder alignment, and implementation planning. The ideal candidate has experience leading enterprise software selections and implementations, preferably within legal, compliance, or corporate functions, and can independently drive initiatives with minimal oversight. Core responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Vendor Selection & RFP Management

  • Lead the legal AI vendor evaluation process.

  • Manage the existing RFP process and coordinate ongoing vendor communications.

  • Facilitate vendor demonstrations, workshops, and evaluation sessions.

  • Develop and maintain scoring methodologies and evaluation scorecards.

  • Collect, organize, and present findings to leadership for decision-making. POC & Solution Assessment

  • Coordinate proof-of-concept activities across vendors and stakeholders.

  • Able to collect and compile use cases into users stories with development into test cases for evaluation.

  • Track evaluation criteria, success metrics, risks, and outcomes.

  • Document recommendations and facilitate final vendor selection activities. Program & Project Leadership

  • Build and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependencies.

  • Incorporate process improvements and governance with stakeholder alignment.

  • Manage both the internal stakeholder and the external vendor relationships

  • Drive execution across legal, procurement, security, IT, and business teams.

  • Facilitate status meetings, steering committee updates, and executive communications.

  • Proactively identify risks, roadblocks, and escalation needs. Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary coordinator between legal leadership, business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.

  • Hold stakeholders accountable to deliverables and decision timelines.

  • Ensure alignment across all parties involved in selection and implementation efforts. Implementation Readiness

  • Lead planning activities to support implementation beginning immediately following vendor selection.

  • Coordinate onboarding, integration, security review, access requirements, and deployment planning.

  • Monitor project progress through implementation and adoption phases. Change Management & Adoption (Preferred)

  • Develop communication and stakeholder engagement plans.

  • Support and develop training, adoption, and organizational readiness content and efforts.

  • Gather user feedback and assist with ongoing optimization and enhancement opportunities.

  • Track adoption and proactively identify areas of focus

Key Success Metrics

  • Legal AI platform selected by targeted decision date.
  • Successful completion of RFP, vendor evaluation, and POC phases.
  • Timely implementation of chosen platform.
  • Executive stakeholder reporting, satisfaction and alignment.
  • Effective management of project risks, dependencies, and escalations.
  • Strong adoption and engagement from legal stakeholders following deployment

Skills and Requirements

  • 7+ years of Project or Program Management experience leading enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Experience implementing legal technology platforms or legal operations solutions.
  • Familiarity with legal processes along with related documentation and standard methodologies
  • Proven experience managing software vendor evaluations and selection processes.
  • Hands-on experience owning and executing RFPs, RFIs, vendor assessments, and competitive evaluations.
  • Experience coordinating Proof of Concepts (POCs) and developing evaluation scorecards and selection criteria.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise legal software implementations from planning through deployment.
  • Strong executive stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
  • Well-versed in setting up and tracking project/program implementation roadmap
  • Ability to independently drive projects, identify risks, escalate blockers, and maintain momentum across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with business, legal, procurement, and technical teams.
  • Strong project governance, reporting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Knowledgeable about putting forward business cases and cost-benefit analysis in order to obtain funding for future phases.
  • Previous experience with Harvey, Legora, or similar Legal AI platforms.
  • Change Management experience supporting user adoption, communications, training, and organizational readiness.
  • Experience working within in-house legal departments or partnering closely with legal stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with AI, Generative AI, or enterprise AI tooling evaluations and implementations.
  • Experience establishing governance frameworks for AI and emerging technology solutions.
  • PMP, Product Owner, Change Management or related certifications.
