About the Role

As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will lead facilities operations for a large, geographically diverse portfolio supporting a major telecommunications client. You will oversee building operations, maintenance programs, financial performance, vendor relationships, and critical facility uptime across approximately 160 locations throughout Nevada, Hawaii, and the Lake Tahoe region.

This job is part of the Facilities Management functional area, which focuses on all aspects of operating and maintaining commercial facilities while delivering exceptional service to clients. The team partners closely with stakeholders to ensure facilities remain safe, compliant, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.

This is a hybrid position based in the Las Vegas metropolitan area with approximately 20% travel throughout the assigned territory. The role requires regular site visits, typically 3-4 days per week based on business needs, including occasional overnight travel. The successful candidate will be a self-driven leader who thrives in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly and operational excellence is critical.

What You'll Do

  • Lead facilities operations across a portfolio of approximately 160 sites, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable building performance.

  • Manage a team of five Building Engineers and partner with two Facility Coordinators to support day-to-day operations and client expectations.

  • Maintain 100% uptime for critical facilities by proactively monitoring building systems, addressing operational risks, and coordinating corrective actions.

  • Oversee work order management activities utilizing Corrigo and ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair requests.

  • Develop, manage, and monitor operating budgets while analyzing financial performance and producing reporting through Power BI and other systems.

  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including service delivery, performance expectations, contract compliance, and invoicing processes.

  • Conduct facility inspections, assess operational conditions, and identify opportunities for maintenance improvements, cost savings, and operational efficiencies.

  • Support environmental health, safety, and compliance programs in accordance with client requirements and local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for AT&T Global Real Estate and AT&T Network Operations stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service and daily operational support.

  • Lead client-facing meetings, communicate facility performance metrics, and provide updates regarding operational initiatives and business needs.

  • Support capital improvement projects as assigned while ensuring alignment with client objectives and operational requirements.

  • Foster a collaborative team environment through coaching, performance management, employee development, and recruitment activities.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant facilities management, operations management, or related experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of education and experience will be considered.

  • Valid driver's license required.

  • Previous leadership experience managing facility teams, engineers, vendors, contractors, or service providers.

  • Experience managing facility operations, building maintenance programs, work order systems, and preventive maintenance initiatives.

  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, analyzing operating expenses, reviewing financial reports, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

  • Experience utilizing computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), preferably Corrigo.

  • Familiarity with Power BI, Microsoft Outlook, Building Management Systems (BMS), and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Operations management experience strongly preferred.

  • Telecommunications, utility, or AT&T-related experience preferred but not required.

  • Facility Management certifications such as CFM or FMP are preferred but not required.

  • Strong client relationship management skills and the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proven ability to adapt to changing business needs and prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Advanced analytical and financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
