Schedule: Full time Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 11801 SOUTH FWY City: BURLESON State: Texas Postal Code: 76028 Job Description:

Shift: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm

  • Installs, maintains, and repairs domestic water pumps, water piping lines, water filters, and plumbing fixtures.
  • Repairs and maintains steam stations, valves, heating and condensate return stations, and sewer and storm drains.
  • Maintains the piping and supply of cylinder and bulk medical gas systems.
  • Assists in the operation and general maintenance of painting, HVAC, electrical, locksmith, and alarm systems.
  • Troubleshoots, tests, and repairs plumbing, mechanical machinery, equipment, systems, and piping as scheduled or needed.
  • Provides on-the-job skills training.
  • May be required to respond to emergency calls and take call in accordance with facility requirements.
  • Monitors work performed by outside contractors to ensure requirements are met and results are documented properly.
  • Responds to in-house work orders and preventive maintenance tasks on a daily basis in a timely manner.
  • Maintains complete and accurate records of all maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with HealthCare Regulations, Federal, State, and Local regulations and standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Supports and contributes to the development of new processes, products, or services.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to assist trade personnel and contractors as necessary to coordinate repairs to plumbing [Required]
  • Ability to perform plumber equipment maintenance, installations and modifications per all applicable codes and regulations [Required]
  • Ability to assist in contributing to system training manuals and upgrades as changes occur [Required]
  • Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required]
  • Must have the ability to document records neatly and accurately [Required]
  • Ability to generate requisitions for materials and supplies [Required]
  • Ability to assign priority and teams in a timely manner [Required]
  • Ability to instruct others as per blueprints and work from sketches [Required]
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheduled form [Required]
  • Ability to read, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals [Required]
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exist [Required]
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volumes [Required]
  • Knowledge of safe handling tools and equipment [Required]

Education:

  • High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience:

  • 2+ commercial plumbing experience [Preferred]
  • 2+ health care [Preferred]
  • 5+ general plumbing experience [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Driver's License (DL) [Required] - Must have clean driving record for last 3 years.
  • Journeyman (JRNYMN) [Preferred]

Pay Range:
