We have an exciting opportunity for a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join our team in Montgomery, Alabama. In this role, you’ll help lead the design and delivery of water and wastewater facilities, ranging from $1M to over $100M in construction value. With a strong backlog of water and wastewater treatment projects, you’ll have the chance to shape cutting-edge solutions and grow your expertise in the technologies that matter most to you.

What you’ll do

  • Manage and support the planning and design of water and wastewater facilities, addressing challenges such as emerging contaminants and nutrient removal.

  • Oversee diverse projects in water treatment, wastewater treatment, conveyance, and modeling.

  • Serve as a primary client interface, leading workshops, facilitating discussions, and maintaining strong relationships to ensure expectations are met and exceeded.

  • Drive project coordination across disciplines and uphold quality standards throughout all design phases.

  • Mentor engineers and designers, fostering technical growth and collaborative team culture.

  • Contribute to technical strategies and design planning for project pursuits, leveraging client insights to shape innovative solutions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Biosystems Engineering, or related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, and conveyance systems.

  • Proven ability to coordinate across multiple engineering disciplines and manage project delivery.

  • Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

  • Experience in construction and startup of water/wastewater treatment facilities.

  • Design experience with advanced wastewater processes.

  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and sustainability practices in water infrastructure.
