Grow with us. Eligible clinicians have the opportunity to earn salary increases of up to 20%* through our Clinical Ladder Program based on experience, professional development, and achievement of advancement criteria.
Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines.
Attaches and completes 12 lead EKG tests before providing the strip to the physician on duty. Initiates cardiac monitoring, detects dysrhythmias, and notifies the assigned nurse or charge nurse of abnormalities. Performs venipuncture for testing and inserts peripheral IVs, hang IV fluid without medication, and maintains prescribed IV flow rates. Observes and documents the condition of infusion sites and remove IV lines as directed by registered nurse. Assists physician or registered nurse with procedures and exams. Follows Center for Disease Control isolation guidelines, demonstrate appropriate use of personal protective equipment, perform hand washing according to policy, and enforce safety regulations. Champions customer service by keeping patients informed, providing updates, and demonstrating caring and compassion. Provides patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture. Transports patients as directed by licensed personnel. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education:
- High School Grad or Equivalent [Required]
Work Experience:

1+ year ed or pre-hospital paramedic experience [Required]

Monitor Tech cross-training [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:

Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Licensed Paramedic (PARA) [Required]
-
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]

Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Required]

Pay Range:
$20.58 - $32.92 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
