Financial Analyst

Description We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join a growing team and contribute to sound financial planning, reporting, and performance analysis. In this role, you will work closely with finance, accounting, and operational leaders to turn financial data into meaningful insights that guide business decisions. This position is well suited for a detail-focused individual who enjoys improving reporting processes, evaluating cost trends, and supporting efficient financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to department budgeting, forecasting, and broader planning efforts by gathering data, validating assumptions, and preparing financial inputs.

• Produce recurring monthly reports, explain variances against plan and prior periods, and help build materials for leadership review.

• Examine operating expenses and cost patterns to highlight emerging risks, identify savings opportunities, and support stronger financial performance.

• Manage key schedules such as prepaid expenses and allocation methodologies while ensuring accuracy in supporting analyses.

• Collaborate with accounting during close activities by assisting with reconciliations, reporting support, and audit-related requests when needed.

• Create and maintain dashboards, KPI tracking, and financial reports using Excel, Power BI, OneStream, and other business systems.

• Strengthen recurring reporting workflows through automation, standardization, and other process enhancement initiatives.

• Deliver ad hoc analysis and financial modeling to support strategic questions, operational decisions, and leadership requests. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, FP& A, or a comparable finance-focused position.

• Hands-on ability in financial analysis, variance review, financial modeling, and ad hoc reporting.

• Experience using Excel and familiarity with reporting or planning platforms such as Power BI and OneStream.

• Strong analytical and data-mining skills with the ability to interpret complex information and present clear recommendations.

• Effective organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Team-oriented approach and willingness to partner across functions to improve processes and support business objectives.
