Job Description

Olsson is seeking a Technical Expert to join our Water market and serve as a trusted advisor for clients across the water industry. In this role, you'll provide technical leadership on complex water challenges, help shape strategic solutions, and strengthen client relationships. As a recognized industry expert, you'll collaborate closely with clients, support business development efforts, mentor technical teams, and help drive innovation and technical excellence across the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients, helping solve complex water challenges and develop strategic solutions.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting project pursuits, proposals, presentations, and business development activities.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance across a variety of water projects and sectors.

  • Represent Olsson through industry organizations, conferences, technical committees, and thought leadership opportunities.

  • Collaborate with market and sector leaders to identify emerging trends, technologies, and opportunities that support growth.

  • Support project teams by providing technical expertise, quality reviews, and guidance on complex issues.

  • Mentor engineers and technical professionals, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing across the organization.

Qualifications

You are passionate about:

You bring to the team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

  • 12+ years of experience within the water industry.

  • Proven ability to build trusted client relationships and influence technical decisions.

  • Experience supporting business development, strategic pursuits, and industry engagement.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • A passion for technical excellence, innovation, and mentoring others.
