Job Description
WHAT YOU WILL DO
-
You will oversee and perform facilities installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs for Shiseido Americas East Windsor facilities and utility equipment systems, ensuring all work follows standard work instructions and Shiseido Americas safety principles.

You will use your skills, tools, and materials to support facilities maintenance objectives and provide timely updates to the Senior Manager, Facilities on job progress.

You will communicate with plant customers/department representatives as needed to ensure standard operating procedures (SOP), good manufacturing practices (GMP), and current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) procedures are followed correctly.

You will create and enter completed work orders into the computerized maintenance management system and identify any gaps or corrective actions needed.

You will receive directions and assignments from the Sr. Manager, Facilities and help cascade assignments to the Facilities team as needed.

You will assist with coordinating daily project-related work involving outside contractors.
WHO YOU ARE
-
You are experienced, with at least 7 years of prior work in a cGMP manufacturing environment such as cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, or fragrance.

You are certified through trade school or have an equivalent experience background.

You are licensed with a High-Pressure Black Seal Boiler license, preferred, or are willing to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.

You are licensed with a Wastewater N1 or higher license, preferred, or are willing to obtain certification within 12 months of hire.

You are certified with a CFC Universal Refrigerant License and HVAC Certification, preferred.

You are able to operate building management software, with Carrier i-Vu experience preferred.

You are skilled and experienced in operating and maintaining facilities equipment.

You are experienced in using equipment and tools including, but not limited to, welders, pipe sweating, soldering, HVAC testing, charging, and evacuation.

You are comfortable using basic computer applications, including Microsoft Excel.

You are effective at managing your time, work schedules, events, programs, and other activities with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship.

You are able to communicate information and ideas clearly and effectively.

You are accomplished in troubleshooting and repairing chillers, air handlers, building automation systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs, vacuum systems, and electrical systems.

You are committed to maintaining and expanding your technical knowledge.

You are able to read and write in English.
